2016 Summer Road Construction – Update June 10

Upcoming Road Closures / Lane Closures

Below is a list of upcoming construction projects that require the temporary closure of roads and lanes.  All dates are best estimates and are subject to minor changes.

Grey Road 40 – Bridge Maintenance

Grey Road 40 will be closed between Grey Road 3 and Concession 12 in the Township of Chatsworth for bridge maintenance from June 13, 2016 to June 30, 2016.  A detour will be provided one concession south of Grey Road 40 on Sideroad 5.

Grey Road 5 (2^nd Ave. E.) – Milling and Hot Mix Patching with Granular Shouldering

Grey Road 5 between Harrison Park Hill and 1^st Street SW is scheduled to be paved on Monday, June 13, 2016 and Tuesday, June 14, 2016.  Alternating lane closures will be in effect and traffic will be maintained at all times.

Grey Road 119 – Road Construction

Grey Road 119 between Grey Road 2 and the 6^th Line in The Blue Mountains will be closed for construction from June 13, 2016 to July 15, 2016.  This section of road will be impassible during the project.  A local detour will be provided using Grey Road 2, the 21^st Sideroad and the 4^th Line.

Other Upcoming Construction Projects

The following roads in Grey Highlands will be under construction from June 6, 2016 to July 22, 2016.  Alternating road closures can be expected.

• Grey Road 31 from Grey Road 2 to the Osprey-Clearview Townline
• Grey Highlands Road 63 between Grey Road 31 and Concession 10
• Osprey-Clearview Townline between Eagle Crescent and Simcoe Road 91
• Grey Highlands Sideroad 35 between the 8^th Concession and Lakeshore Boulevard
