Grey Road 29 Rehabilitation: June 22 to August 28
Grey Road 29 from Grey Road 40 to Holland Sydenham Townline in the Township of Chatsworth. The limits of the project are from Grey Road 40, north to the Holland-Sydenham Townline for a total length of 3.4 kilometers. This project includes guiderail upgrades and replacements, storm sewer and curb and gutter replacement, 3.25 metre lanes with 0.75 metre to 1.25 metre paved shoulders.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $1.4 million.
Structure 109-353 Bridge Replacement (Holstein): Dates to be determined
The structure is located on Grey Road 109 in the Township of Southgate. This project is a full bridge replacement. It includes 0.5 metre paved shoulders and enhanced railings to keep the heritage appeal. Most of the project was completed in 2019 and some outstanding items will be completed this season.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Total budget: $2.1 million.
Grey Road 9 Pulverize and Pave Rehabilitation: July 20 to September 18
Grey Road 9 from Grey Road 109 to Grey Road 23 in the Township of Southgate. This project includes 8 kilometres of pulverizing and hot mix paving, two culvert replacements, guiderail upgrades and replacements and 1.25 metre paved shoulders, excluding the intersection of Grey Road 9 at Grey Road 109, and including the intersection of Grey Road 9 at Grey Road 23.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $3 million.
Grey Road 2 Microsurfacing: July 6 to July 30
Grey Road 2 from Grey Road 4 to Melancthon-Osprey Townline. This project includes 9.9 kilometres of micro-surfacing from Maxwell south to the Melancthon-Osprey Townline in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. Work includes micro-surfacing and pavement marking.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $306,000.
Grey Road 2 Pulverize and Pave Rehabilitation: August 4 to September 11
Grey Road 2 from Sideroad 18, north to 175 metres north of Sideroad 24, for a total length of 3.86 kilometers. This project includes 3.50 metre lanes with 1.25 metre paved shoulders, guiderail upgrades and replacements, culvert replacements and pulverize and pave rehabilitation.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $1.5 million.
Grey Road 9 Pulverize and Pave Rehabilitation (Badjeros): July 6 to September 4
Grey Road 9 from the Melancthon-Osprey Townline (Dufferin County Road 9), east to Grey Road 124 for a total of 8.9 kilometres in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. This project is in partnership with Dufferin County. It includes culvert replacements, guiderail replacements and 3.5 metre lanes with 1.25 metre paved shoulders.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $3.4 million.
Grey Road 11 Pulverize and Pave Rehabilitation: July 20 to September 18
Grey Road 11 from 200 metres south of Highway 26, north to Highway 26 for a total length of 0.2 kilometres of road rehabilitation. This project includes 3.50 metre lanes with 1.25 metre paved shoulders.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. Budget: $425,000.
Grey Road 15 Pulverize and Pave Rehabilitation: July 20 to September 18
Grey Road 15 from 200 metres east of Queen Street / Tom Thompson Lane in Leith to 600 metres south of Annan, for a total length of 2.3 kilometres. This project includes 3.50 metre lanes with 1.25 metre paved shoulders, guiderail upgrades and replacements, pulverize and pave rehabilitation and urban reconstruction with storm sewer and curb and gutter replacement in Annan.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures, and possible localized signed detours. Budget: $1,250,000.
Structure 124-145 Bridge Rehabilitation (Singhampton): June 22 to October 31
The structure is located on Grey Road 124, 0.8 kilometres north of Grey Road 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The project includes concrete patching, deck rehabilitation, guiderail upgrades and paving.
The roadway will be open to traffic with temporary traffic signals. The project is shared with Simcoe County with an overall budget of $1,000,000.
Grey Road 19/Simcoe Road 34 Rehabilitation: August 4 to September 4
Grey Road 19/Simcoe Road 34 from the intersection of the Blue Mountains-Clearview Townline to the intersection of Grey Road 19/Simcoe Road 34 and Grey Road 21 in The Blue Mountains. The project includes pavement recycling and resurfacing.
The roadway will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures. The is a shared project with Simcoe County with an overall budget of $1,235,000.
