Accessing the Administration Building During Construction
Grey County is making improvements to the Administration Building in Owen Sound. Here’s everything you need to know to access services during construction:
- The main entrance throughout construction is the rear doors. The front entrance is no longer available.
- All traffic must use the new entrance off of 6th Street East. Access through other driveways will be blocked.
- Visitor parking and accessible parking has moved to the back of the building.
- Court parking (Provincial Offences) will stay the same for now.
- Signs will be located around the property showing visitors where to go.
- No county services will be interrupted by construction without advanced notice.
- First-floor programs and services such as Affordable Housing, Ontario Works and other social services remain open. If you have limited mobility or require the use of the lift to access the first-floor, please ask for help at an entrance counter.
- A drop box for documents will be available near the back entrance.
- Canada Post and Purolator boxes are moving to the back of the building.
