Ag 4.0 Returns March 30 - Tickets On Sale
On Wednesday, March 30, Grey County will host its popular Ag 4.0 conference through an interactive online platform hosted by CTRE Productions. This year, the event explores climate change mitigation through innovative agricultural practice.

Gillian Flies - The New Farm, a Case Study:
Gillian will share her experiences transitioning to regenerative agriculture and the measured impacts it has had on the health of the soil and the success of the farm operation overall. Learn how Regenerative Agriculture techniques transformed The New Farm, and how agricultural best practices are informing national policy by centering nature-based solutions to climate change.
David Messer - COIL, Supporting Innovation in the Circular Economy:
Since 2019, Guelph and Wellington County have been working on a federally funded project, Our Food Future, to create a regional circular food economy. In just two years, the Circular Opportunity Innovation Launchpad (COIL) program has grown to over 60 projects working with 181 businesses and close to 1000 stakeholders to address food insecurity and create new value from waste. Jessica Linthorne and Chad Richards - Nuclear Innovation Institute's Community Projects:
The Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) is working to demonstrate that the Bruce, Grey, and Huron region will be a key contributor to a net zero future through the Clean Energy Frontier program and Centre for New Nuclear & Net Zero Partnerships. Learn more about the NII’s work on clean energy (including clean fuels), cross-sectoral partnerships on carbon reduction and sequestration activities, and more.
Crystal Howe and Morgan Wyatt – Beyond Single Use Plastics:
Learn how two innovative Grey County based businesses – Ice River Sustainable Solutions and Greenlid Compostable Products - are helping businesses and consumers move beyond single use plastics, and providing climate-focused packaging solutions ahead of the 2025 Canada Plastics Pact deadline.
