Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day
This October 17 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Appreciation Day – a day to celebrate and recognize those who dedicate their careers to caring for children in our community. To all child care workers and ECEs, your role is nothing short of extraordinary. Your patience, care, and commitment are the foundation upon which our children's early development is built.
Child care workers and ECEs work hard to support families in our community by encouraging children to learn, grow, and thrive. By supporting child care workers and early childhood educators, we ensure that children in our community have access to important resources and supports, helping them get off to the best start possible. We also ensure that parents and caregivers have access to quality, affordable care, so they have the option to continue to be active in our local workforce.
On behalf of Grey County Council and our residents, thank you to our child care workers and early childhood educators for helping our children and our communities reach their full potential.
