County reaches tentative agreement with transportation staff

Grey County has reached a tentative agreement with Transportation Services employees represented by CUPE Local 1530 and has avoided a work stoppage. The tentative agreement was reached during conciliation on Monday, November 5th.  Workers have ratified the terms and County Council will have an opportunity to do so at Thursday’s meeting (November 8th).

“Our transportation services staff are vital to the ongoing maintenance of the County road system. I’m pleased a fair agreement has been reached,” said Grey County Warden Stewart Halliday.
