Grey Road 9/14 Road Construction - Public Information Session

Grey County is hosting a come and go public information session on Thursday, May 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Frank MacIntyre Building in Dundalk to discuss summer construction projects on Grey Road 9 and Grey Road 14

Construction will begin in mid June and will continue throughout the summer.  

The projects will include:

• Reconstructing Grey Road 9 from Southgate Sideroad 7 to Southgate Sideroad 13
• Reconstructing Grey Road 14 from 900m north of Southgate Road 24 to Grey Road 4
• Culvert replacements
• Asphalt pavement widening on Grey Road 9 and 14
• Replacement of structure 9-349 on Grey Road 9

Total Investment: $4.21 million

During the project, the following restrictions will be in place:

• Both reconstruction projects will have intermittent lane closures with traffic control, and possible intermittent full closures.
• Work will be carried out during regular daylight hours
• Local emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times
