Lee Manor COVID-19 Outbreak Declared
The positive staff member had been working on 2nd Floor North. We are now in the process of testing all staff and residents in the affected home area. Testing may be expanded to all residents and staff based on the advice we receive from Public Health.
We are taking this situation very seriously. Thorough infection control protocols are in place and we’re working very closely with Public Health and following Ministry guidelines to keep our residents and staff safe.
The following precautions are now in place:
- Residents of the 2nd Floor North are isolating, and staff are dedicated to the home area.
- All general visits (in-home, outdoor and window) are being suspended. If you had a visit scheduled, please consider it cancelled. Virtual visits can still be arranged through www.Grey.ca.
- The Designated Care Partner Program continues but is limited to one DCP per resident at a time. DCPs continue to require a negative COVID test within the past 14 days.
We take all outbreaks in our home seriously, and we are committed to keeping residents, families and the public informed throughout the outbreak. If you require additional information, please contact the home at 519-376-4420.
