Local Bed Numbers Updated in LHIN Presentation
The Southwest Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) attended the July 5th County Council meeting to discuss long term care redevelopment. Unfortunately, the LHIN discovered an omission in their data. They regret this oversight and an updated presentation is now available on Grey.ca.
Long term care bed statistics have been revised to accurately reflect supply from towns in Bruce and Wellington that border Grey County.
Grey County appreciates the LHIN’s quick action updating this information and their commitment to ensuring there is equitable access to long term care beds throughout our region. The LHIN will continue updating their projections as long term care operators share their redevelopment plans.
Grey County staff are continuing forward as directed by Council. County Council is committed to making the right decision to meet the current and future needs for the people of Grey County.
