Notice of Commencement - Remove and Replace Bridge 112-900

The Corporation of the County of Grey has retained a consultant to complete the design to remove and replace bridge 112-900 located on Grey Road 112, approximately 1.0 kilometres north of Provincial Highway 26.

The project is being planned under Schedule A+ of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Process.

Major structural deficiencies have been noted during mandatory bridge inspections.  The County of Grey is committed to identifying and selecting the most appropriate design alternative, followed by the anticipated removal and replacement of the bridge.

Public input and comment are invited.  The County of Grey intends to finalize the detailed design for this bridge by early winter 2017, in advance of expected construction.
