Notice: Grey Road 3 culvert replacement project

Proposed Construction Period: Monday August 19th 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (date may change based on weather conditions and other factors).

Details: Grey County will be replacing a road culvert on Grey Road 3 between Grey Road 16 and Sideroad 1.

Grey Road 3 will be CLOSED from Grey Road 16 to Sideroad 1 on August 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   A detour route will be posted.  Please refer to the below map for details.

The work will include:

  • Removal of existing culvert
  • Installation of new culvert
  • Paving the area of construction with hot mix asphalt

The following project restrictions will be in place:

  • All work will be carried out during regular daylight hours
  • No work will happen on weekends or holidays
  • Private dwellings, businesses, and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all time
