Notice: Grey Road 40 culvert replacement project

PROJECT UPDATED: The Culvert Replacement Project has been rescheduled.  The new construction period is August 26 to 29th with daily closures between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Details: Grey County will be replacing road culverts on Grey Road 40 between Grey Road 13 and Grey Road 2.

Grey Road 40 will be CLOSED from Grey Road 13 to Grey Road 2 daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during this project.  A detour route will be posted.  Please refer to the below map for details.

The work will include:

  • Removal of existing culvert
  • Installation of new culvert
  • Paving the area of construction with hot mix asphalt

The following project restrictions will be in place:

  • All work will be carried out during regular daylight hours
  • No work will happen on weekends or holidays
  • Private dwellings, businesses and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times
