Notice of Pesticide Use

Grey County Transportation Services intends to use pesticide to control the noxious weeds wild chervil, wild parsnip and giant hogweed in accordance with the public health and safety exemption to the cosmetic pesticide ban on the following rural roadsides:

Grey Road 1, 2, 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 28, 29, 30, 40, 113, 119, 170

The County of Grey will be using the following pesticide registered under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada): Navius FLEX Herbicide (Registration NO. 30922), which contains the active ingredients Metsulfuron-methyl and Aminocyclopyrachlor.

This pesticide use is commencing May 1, 2023, weather permitting, and ending June 30, 2023.
