Potential service interruptions during the Canada Post strike
On November 15, the union representing Canada Post postal workers went on strike. This work stoppage will cause delays with mailed correspondence to Grey County.
During the strike, the public is encouraged to use alternates to mail when sending materials to the County, such as email, in-person pick-up and drop-off, or private couriers. Several services can also be accessed through webforms on the www.Grey.ca website.
Ontario Works cheques, reloadable payment cards and letters will be held at the Administration building and satellite offices for pick-up.
