Public Notice - Sale of land

Subject to the following: the Committee of the Whole will be considering the private sale of Part of Lot 28 Concession 7 Euphrasia as in R358757; Geographic Township of Euphrasia, Municipality of Grey Highlands (Grey County Quarry) to Durham Stone and Paving Inc. on April 9, 2020  at 9:30 at its regular meeting in Council Chambers, Grey County Administration Building.

This sale will only be considered on April 9, 2020 if Council, at its meeting on March 26, 2020 authorizes reconsideration of its decision regarding leasing the above-noted property made on July 11, 2019 as part of resolution CC52-19 and as recommended by Committee of the Whole on June 27, 2019 by resolution CW144-19.

Pending the outcome of this meeting, a by-law to authorize the sale of the above-noted property will be brought forward for Council’s consideration at the April 23, 2020 session of Grey County Council.

Those wishing to submit comments must do so in writing to Heather Morrison, County Clerk at heather.morrison [at] grey.ca (heather[dot]morrison[at]grey[dot]ca) or to the County of Grey, Clerk’s Department, 595 9^th Ave. E., Owen Sound, ON no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday April 8, 2020.
